From Bishops castle : Take the A488 towards Minsterley/Shrewsbury. After about 6 miles there will be a sign on the left to "White Grit/PriestWeston/The Stone Circle". At this point there is what looks like a small ruined castle in front of you. If you start going downhill into Hope Valley you have gone to far...turn around.

Take that road and follow this (with Cordon Hill now on your left) until you are at the top of Stapeley Hill (about 1 mile)

At this point (a water station in front of you) the road goes right then 50yds Left.

POINT A: Now go straight on down the track that is signposted (on your left) to the Stone Circle.  400 yds, through a dirt car park...../through a no cars sign/ over a cattle grid then turn immediately right and follow our track for about 200 yds.  The house will appear on your RHS.  (You are now about 300 yds from the Stone Circle also)

From Welshpool : Take the road from Welshpool towards Chirbury/Churchstoke  (from the ring road initially take the road towards the Welshpool Airport)  When you get to Chirbury, follow the road past the church, past the Post Office THEN  take the road that is straight on at the Junction towards Churchstoke (Tuffins store is this way also)    After approx 100yds there is a small 45 degree turning towards Priest Weston.  Follow this road cautiously for around 2 miles until you get to PW.   At the T junction turn right and go through the village (keep left at the next junction then pass (or go in for a pint) our local pub (the Miners Arms) on your left.  Go up the steep hill.

Continue from POINT A

From Churchstoke (and Tuffins - a good starting point)
Turn out of Tuffins towards Welshpool/Chirbury.  After about 400 yds there is a small turning on the right towards Priest Weston. Follow this road cautiously for around 2 miles until you get to Priest Weston. (there are a few small junctions...follow the main road)  At the T junction turn right then pass the Miners Arms on your left.  Go up the steep hill. Continue from POINT A
